Moringa
"Dunia tak selebar daun kelor."
This is a well-known Indonesian proverb. It means: "The world is not as narrow as a moringa leaf."
In other words, don’t give up easily — there will always be other ways, other chances, and new opportunities waiting for us. I started this page with that spirit. It’s become a symbol for me. Not because I’m good at staying strong, but because I simply don’t want to give up. There are so many things in my head — thoughts jumping from one to another, often to the point that I get tired of my own mind. So many ideas I want to try, things I want to build.
But somehow, in the middle of it all, I started to lose myself.
So here I am, writing again — trying to find my way back.
You might think I’m being dramatic.
But honestly, I’m not. This is exactly what’s been happening. Not once or twice, but often, after a deep conversation, a friend would say:
“Who even are you now?”
I usually just smile, because truthfully, I’ve been asking myself the same thing for a long time. I keep reminding myself that the world is not as small as a moringa leaf. There will be more opportunities. There will be another way. Even though right now, I don’t know exactly what, or where, or when those things will come for me.
But I still want to keep searching — not just for myself, but for others too. There are so many chances out there — especially when it comes to growing, to becoming better. I know… it sounds ironic.
How can I say that when I’m struggling myself?
I say it because it’s true. Yes, I’m struggling. Yes, I feel lost.
But for those of you who do know your direction — or are just starting to figure it out — I want to share what I find. Ideas, thoughts, information — whatever sparks in my head — in the hope that it might help someone else.
Even if I’m still figuring it out too.
